I’m Shao, and I’m 71 years old. I live in Silicon Valley in the United States. I work in the kitchen of an international company. My job is physically demanding. I often need to go in and out of the freezer rooms and carry goods. I developed rheumatoid arthritis, as well as frozen shoulders with joint pain. My hands became swollen and painful, and my fingers were badly deformed. It was hard for me to open a bottle or pick up things, so I had to ask for help. I also couldn’t lift heavy items because of my weak hands. The pain was all over my body, which led to fatigue.
Because I didn’t work during the pandemic, I had time to practice Energy Bagua Aerobics every day. After I’d practiced for a little more than a month, my shoulders relaxed, and the sharp pain in my finger joints improved significantly. I feel better day by day. My hands are stronger. Now I can open a bottle by myself.
When I started walking Energy Bagua, I couldn’t lift my hands when turning my body. I couldn’t follow the complete set of movements because of the pain. But I can do it now. Even if I practice for an hour, it doesn’t hurt when I lift my hands or pat my back. My pain, which was once throughout my body, is gone.
(Note: The effects of practicing Energy Bagua will vary from person to person.)
