“Between Heaven and Earth, nothing is without the involvement of yin and yang. Movement and stillness, sound and silence are all manifestations of yin and yang.” — A Philosopher of Ancient China

Yin and yang exist in our mindset as well, and this affects our fortune in this lifetime.

A person with too much yin energy in their mind … affects their way of thinking and can sometimes lead to a mental imbalance.

On the other hand, if a person has too much yang energy in their mindset, they love to talk and laugh. They are outgoing and can be a bit hyperactive at times. They may be the attention-seeking type who goes to great lengths to get praise from others.

People who have a well-balanced yin and yang mindset are usually even-tempered and have harmonious relationships. They can build a happy family and a successful career. Their skills and capabilities can be developed such that they would be a good governor in peaceful times and a good general in times of war.

Of course, our state of mind contains hereditary elements; however, we can definitely learn through continual observation and adjust our actions consciously so that each of us will be a more balanced person.

We must cultivate both our inner self and outer self, learn to combine slow and fast paces, and learn to express ourselves eloquently so we can succeed in our career, whether that means being a great artist, writer or politician, or simply a happy and ordinary person with a true sense of self-realization.
