First, we walk around a tree in order to walk in circles; second, a tree is life, we cherish Nature and trees, and the tree represents Nature. Trees are the most common, most genuine form of life in Nature. Through the tree, we can communicate with the whole of Nature. That is why in my guide for Energy Bagua, I say, “I am the tree, the tree is me. I am Nature, Nature is me.” We walk around the tree to signify our gratitude, love and compassion to Nature, because we come from Nature and we love this world.
